Research Abstract |
It was investigated that what the kind of students'interesting things in the common field are. Students in this survey are 6th grader in primary school and 9th grader in lower secondary school. The findings are as follows : 1. In case of free observation, average number of informations indicated by students are 2.5 in animals, 5.5 in plants, 3.7 in valley, 4.5 in stratum. 2. On the pattern of the change in the information number with passing time, the information regarding stratum and valley decrese with passing time, the information regarding plant increse in the middle stage, and the information regarding animal increse in the former stage and last stage. 3. In case of observation along the valley in which has 10 marker places selected for this survey, students get a lot of informations, in such marker places where they can play with branch and vine or the stream of valley curve suddenly or the stratum crop out in a cliff. 4. On collecting the information regarding stratum, student are interested in its damp, crack, growing plant on specific bed, and oozing out of subterranean water. 9th graders skech politely them, but a lot of 6th graders grasp that the layer in a cliff is concrete block or wall. 5. About grasping change of the nature, a lot of 9th graders indicate the change on plant. On the other hand, a few 9th graders indicate the change on the geographical features or the flow of water.
