Research Abstract |
IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH SOLAR GRAIN DRYING SYSTEMS SUITABLE FOR THIS COUNTRY FROM A STANDPOINT OF ENERGY REDUCTION AND GRAIN QUALITY , A RADIATION DRYING WHICH IS A FOUNDMENTAL PRINCIPLE OF THE SOLAR DRYING HAS BEEN STUDIED IN THIS REPORT . THE METHOD IS CONDUCTED WITH USE OF A DRYING HOUSE , THEN HEAT COLLECTION PERFORMANCES OF THE HOUSE WERE ESPECIALLY INVESTIGATED . THE PREDICTION OF SOLAR RADIATION ON A HEAT COLLECTION SURFACE OF THE HOUSE IS NECESSARY FOR THE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS IN THE RADIATION DRYING MATHEMATICAL MODEL . THE SOLAR RADIATION PREDICTED VALUE AGREED WELL WITH TO THE EXPERIMENTAL ONES , WHICH INDICATED THE VALIDITY OF THE MODEL . IN THE DRYING , THE HEAT SOURCE ARE GIVEN WITH A FORM OF RADIATION HEAT TRANSFER , THEN THE REMOVAL OF WATER EVAPORATED IS NOT SUFFICIENT , THEREFORE THE DRYING RATE IS TOO LATE . TO RAISE THE DRYING EFFICIENCY , THE ADDED MEDHODS OF WIND TO THE DRYING OBJECTS WERE PROPOSED AND THE EFFECTS WERE VERIFIED FROM THE FOUNDMENTAL EXPERIMENTS . THE SOLAR DRYING MATHEMATICAL MODELS WERE CONSTRUCTED FOR THE ESTIMATION OF DRYING RATE . A CORRECTNESS OF THE MODEL WAS MODE BY CALCURATED VALUES COMPARING WITH AND SHOWING REASONABLE AGGREEMENT WITH EXPERIMENTAL ONES , AND THEN FROM SIMULATION USED THE MODEL THE ECONOMICAL MERITS IN SPECIAL CASE WERE SHOWED . FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RADIATION DRYING IN PRACTICAL USE , DRYING EXPERIMENTS WERE CONDUCTED . A TEMPERING DRYING BY WARMED AIR IN THE HOUSE AFTER THE RADIATION DRYING WAS PROPOSED TO INCREASE THE DRYING RATE .
