Research Abstract |
There is a marked decline in the eating function of the man with cerebral palsy. The purpose of this study is to observe the relation between the masticatory efficiency and the activity of masticatory muscles in the man with cerebral palsy. As a result, the men with cerebral palsy have lower values of masticatory efficiency than healty men. With the views of electromyography, it was suggested that the lower values of cerebral palsy men were caused by the irregularity of the masticatory rhythm.
