Research Abstract |
This project proposes a model mechanics from which it is possible to set up the phenomenology of the inhomogeneous plastic flow and fracture for amorphous alloys. We employ this model in an atempt to organaize the current knowledge of flow and fracture events, and intend to gain a better understanding of the actual strength, inhomogeneous flow and related phenomena of amorphous metallic alloys, with particular attention to their quatitative description.
