Research Abstract |
A Synthetic Study on Liquid-Gas Two-Phase Flow The purpose of this study is to make a technical and engineering data book of liquid-gas two-phase flow after appreciating correlations, models, and experimental data which have been presented in papers and reports. 1. Collection of Information New and Conventional Papers of International Conferences, Journals, and Institutions in the Many Field were Collected Widely. 2. Classification and Appreciation Judging from the contents, the papers and the reports have been classified into thirteen groups, that is, "flow pattern", "basic equation", "pressure drop and void fraction", "critical flow", "dynamic wave and shock wave", "slug flow and froth flow", "annular flow and annular mist flow", "stratify flow and wavy flow", "cryogenic two-phase flow", "liquid metal two-phase flow", "two-phase flow for mixture". On the basis of the survey, appreciation of experimental correlations, theoretical models, and experimental data were made. Moreover, the correlations and experimental data were arranged in a system from a uniform view point and are described as a technical and engineering data in this report. 3. Publish Explanation of the phenomena, the correlations, and the experimental data which were appreciated in this project are too many to be described in this report. However, these information is useful for graduate students, engineers, and investigators in this field. Thus, we published the detailed information as "Handbook of Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Flow Technology" from Corona publishing Co., Ltd. in 1989.
