| Research Abstract |
鎖多項式の計算理論は、成嶋を中心とするグループによって、1980年代のはじめより展開されてきた。今年度は、特に、次の2点において成果が得られた。
1. 体系化の面では、カナダのジォイヤルを中心とするカテゴリー論的アプローチとの関連を2,3の点で明らかにした。
2. 応用面では、パーソナルコンピュータによる整数型高精度計算システムを開発し、このシステムを用いてブール束、分割束、立方体束の鎖多項式の係数計算を行い、数表を整理するとともに予想や未解決問題を明らかにした。
