Research Abstract |
Beside trying to improve indoor thermal environment, for reducing the amount of energy cost for air conditioning, we suggested new indoor cooling and heating method and examined folloing points introdusing positive use of air draft during cooling hours and elimination while asleep, recognizing the difference between demand of indoor thermal quality during active and sleeping hours, together with thermal energy storage wall with PCM inside, so called radiant pannel, heated or colledapplying midnight electoric power charge. 1. Cooling examination under cooling system using with intermittant cooled air blow adjustment: Mainly, examination in the difference between intermittant period and supply air temperature, and thermal sensation. 2. Heating examination(radiat pannel + convection): Mainly, examination in the air outlet position on the face of pannel, and also the difference between supply air temperature and tharmal sensation. 3. Control examination of indoor environment by thermal comfort sensors: Comparative examination in the ordinary air conditioning controler system aiming at maintaining indoor air temperature and in direct control by thermal comfort sensors based on Tf,PMV,ET composed with air temperature, mean radiat temperature, air velosity, air humidity, metabolism, clothes. Mainly, recognition of instrument contorol problem under intermittant cooled air bleezing. 4. Examination of heating and cooling combined with PCM pannel: Mainly, recognition of charactaristics of heat storage and heat release of PCM. 5. Simulation by indoor model: Mainly, energy cost calcuration depend on stage of air conditioning loads and chilled/warmed supply water temperatures. Consequently, as we obtained agreeable results regarding energy cost and thermal sensation, some issues to be solved, such as valuation which initial cost increasing performance means increasing of thermal comfort,and the developing of PCM were found.
