| Research Abstract |
1. Ad the desing technigue was the sectret of professior, itsis still wapt in mystery. The author analyged geo metrical proportion of the pauheen in Axiert Rome, And lproved that the panrheon was designed by using of the diagram of Two-sguares and Teo-cirdes comfination. Fuethermore, I applied the diagram to the Jothic architecture such ad Chartes, Reims and Mien, and it was confirmed that the diagram was used and that the 9 or 16 sgures grid sustem which was made by dividing the qguares of the diagram were used.
2. In the study of the experiment of frrehand constrcution of stone ceiling , I made line mortar by mixing slaked line and river sand in the retio of 1:4 in weigfht. I also used the vault stone of ohya stone ( specific granty of 1,5, ar average size of 31.2cm in length,26.8cm in eight and 15.3cm in thickress). First, I dealt with the frehand constrntion of the domical vault of St. serge church. In this case the stone layer the maximum anagle with ther horizontal surface is adjacert to the tidge dib and the angle is 75゜, Secondly, I deralt with the frrhand construction of the flat vault in the choir of the cologne Cathedral. In thid case the argle of the bedding surface of the top part of the vault is 70゜, In these expermerts I proved that the vault of gothic architecture can be easily built freehand with the help fo dsimple supplementary tools such as stone-repe, cerce mobil, orop etc.
