Research Abstract |
The study are Comprised of the following aspects relating to FELDA schemes: 1)Corroborative investigation on utility level of infrastructure and public facilities in FELDA schemes, 2)Life and Consciousness of Settlers in FELDA schemes in Jengka, 3)Preference for medical and hygienic environments of settlers, and 4) Spatial preference of settlers in Jengka Trialgle under FELDA. Besides literature study at FELDA head office and Institute of Land Development, other relevant data were collected by interviewing technique. Six FELDA schemes in Jengka Triangle area were selected based on their geographical location,type of crops i.e.oil palm and rudder, and three defined stages of development i.e.the new, middle-aged and old. The results were identified the effects of development of certain aspects of human settlement environment viz. infrastructure and public facilities, social environment, medical and hygienic and public facilities, social living space on community etc..
