Research Abstract

薄膜通過中, 通過後のイオンの荷電状態分布, 内殻電離及びX線の発生等について広範なZ_1, Z_2にわたっての実験・理論両面からの詳細な系統的研究が行なわれた. すなわち非平衡から平衡状態への進化の過程, 上記物理量のZ1及びZ2依存性, 電荷交換とX線発生の相関, イオンの出射角(衝突係数b)依存性等が明らかになった. また電子捕獲・損失断面積の導出や, 陽電子の固体表面でのe^+生成確率等の理論的考察も行なわれた. (三雲, 粟屋, 北原, 唐島, 新藤グループ)
上記問題に関連して, 衝突係数0の極限の核融合反応において, 複合核及び蒸発残渣から発生する即発KX線を始めて観測し, 核反応に伴う内殻電離高励起核の周囲の電子状態, 核反応時間に関する情報を得た. (三雲ら)
軽・重イオンの物質通過中のエネルギー損失(阻止能)に関する実験・理論の研究がなされた. 阻止能のb依存性の存否, 非均一電子ガス系での誘電関数理論を発展させた阻止能の一般公式の導出等を行った. (津田, 北川, 金子グループ)
多価重イオンの平衡電荷と励起状態に関しては, ビームフォイル分光による研究も行った. すなわち励起イオンからの発光・X線の観測を行い, 励起状態の寿命の測定をした. ビームフォイル法はまたH^<q^+>(q=1-3)と固体との相互作用に適用し, 各イオンについて量子数占有率を推定することができた. (小牧, 小林グループ)
イオン・薄膜通過における放出二次電子数分布の測定を行い, 二次電子を放出しない確率, イオンの薄膜中での荷電変換断面積等を評価することができた. (山崎グループ)本年度は本特定研究の最終年度として各グループで努力の結果, 相応の成果を上げ, またグループ間の交流も行われた.
