Research Abstract

本研究班では高密度光束(レーザー)を光化学プロセスに有効利用する手法の開発とこの利用に伴う特有の分子過程の研究を行い重要な成果を挙げた。高密度光束利用のための手法の開発。(1)時間的に超高密度な光束として、高くり返し(6KHz)、超短パルス(80フェムト秒)、可変波長レーザーシステムの開発に成功した(吉原)。(2)アモルファス高分子固体のレーザーアブレーションダイナミックスを調べ、その複数の機構を解明した(増原)。(3)新しい高密度光束としてのレーザーカオス光の発生を特に発生条件の困難なHe-Ne系、色素系、Ndガラス系で試み光化学反応への応用を考察した(岩澤)。(4)芳香族ケトン類の励起三重項状態の双極子能率を決定しこれを凝集化過程の動力学的解析における速度パラメーターの決定に応用した(嶋森)。高密度光束利用に伴う特有の分子過程の研究。(5)蛍光消光反応により生成するジェミネートラジカルイオン対の再結合速度のエネルギーギャップ依存性で従来欠けていた正常領域の実験結果を見出しベル型エネルギーギャップ則を確立した(又賀)。(6)多光子吸収法でNO_2から生じたO(S)とNO_2の反応が特に高効率でNO(A^2Σ^+)を生成することを見出した(小尾)。(7)レーザー光分解法による新反応プロセスを種々検討し、励起一重項状態からはプロトン移動が、三重項状態からは水素原子が効率よく起こることを見出した(閑)。(8)極性分子とのファンデルワール錯体形成においてのみ電荷移動状態を示す有機分子を見出し、その効率が極性分子の数(溶媒和数)とともに増大することを確立した(梶本)。(9)ベンゼン3個からなる小集団(クラスター)を作り、その電荷移動型励起状態に共鳴させて高密度光束でイオン化すると、効率よく安定なイオンクラスター状態を生成することを見出した(西)。(10)励起状態における反応性が基底状態にくらべ著しく高い不安定分子種を見出し、ラジカル光化学反応に新しい面を開拓した(伊藤)。
