| Research Abstract |
(1) The research group of educational subjects published The Survey 1 on the Establishment of General Education Subjects in Universities in which they summed up and analyzed the data on the composition and requirements in general education in the 4-year universities. And they will publish the Survey II and another survey report on the research results of the questionnaires for the students and professors on general education within this academic year.
(2) The Head investigator and the Head Office published the Opinions and Recommendations on the Articulation with the Post-secondary Education in which they arranged and organized the proposals, recommendations, and opinions from various sections of the society.
(3) Mr.Otsuka, a research member in charge of China in the research group on the foreign countries, published his article on "A Study the Higher Education Certificate Examination Self-study in China" in No.19 of NTER Re- search Report.

(5) The research results of research groups except for the above-mentioned are as follows: (1)Most of the members in the research groups of historical study, foreign countries study, admission policy, vocational and further education study, and career guidance will publish their own personal papers as their research results of our 3-year projects in our main final research report with the title of the Comprehensive Research on the Actual Situation and the Trends of Articulation with the Post-secondary Education-Admission Policy, Curriculum, and Career Guidance in Japan and Foreign Countries--, within this academic year. (2)And the more, in this final report each member of the comprehensive research group will summarize the academic research results of his own research group as "the Summary of the Research Analysis", including the new research findings and the suggestions for the research developments in relation to this project in the future. Among the lots of our research results especially the historical studies on the unification of the beginnings of the school year and the 7-year unified high schools, the research surveys on the articulation in the school subjects between high schools and the institutions of the post-secondary education, and the analyses of the access of the non-college students to higher education in the foreign countries are significant and meaningful.
