| Research Abstract |
Pattern which grows in diffusion field covers wide variety of Field such as; 1) Crystal Growth, 2) SPatial structure found in Convection, 3) Morphogenesis in Biology These problems have their own specificities and form independent fields of research. The present project was intending to study the common features underlying these problems and to obtain information on the universality and stability governing the growth patten in the diffusion field.
1) Growth patterns in crystal growth far from equilibrium are categorized into three types; needle crystal, dendrite crystal and fractal aggregate. The present work is concerned with the statistical features of the growth sites anf the stability of the patterns
2) Nonlinear systems far from equilibrium with spatial extension become turbulent, when the non-equilibrium parameter is increase, via various spatial and temporal structures. The present works are concerned with the bifurcation scheme to chaos when the system size is increased. Also interaction between the solitons which plays important roles in the pattern formation are also studied.
3) The present work is to know what is the difference between the biological morphogenesis and the pattern formation in non-bioligical systems. The process of regeneration from reaggregated cells of Hydra, utilizing the strong regerative potential and absence of immunity.
