Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is an invention of the theory and technics on roundness<approximately equal>0, surface roughness<approximately equal>0, cylindricity<approximately equal>0 machining of hole. In this study, it is analyzed that the precision machining can be done by combining the precision vibration cutting, superposition super finish and the precision vibration reaming by using the torsional vibration diamond reamer ultrasonically. For this precision machining of hole, a newly developed vibration cutting lathe with the air bearing and the carriage system with the pneumatic floating slideway can be created. And a newly developed vibration cutting device, superposition super finishing device and ultrasonic vibration reaming device are fixed on the carriage of this lathe enable to machining a hole of 6-13mm in diameter and 70 mm in length. The concrete methods are as follows:In the first process, the work which is chucked on the main spindle with air bearing is machined as acting a continuously and systematically pulsating cutting force by the ultrasonic vibration cuttong mechanism. In hte following process, the work is finished by the newly developed (40hH+30KHz) superposition superfinishing device. After all, to actualize machining surface roughness of 0.1-0.2 mRmax, roundness of 0.15-0.2 m, cylindricity of <approximately equal>0 m/60mm are succeeded in work material of aluminum alloy, brass, carbon steel, stainless steel and hardened steel (HRC52,39).
