Research Abstract |
The goverment of Manchukuo founded the MANSHU Association for Mining and Industrial Technicians in preparation for the increase in demand for technicians and skilled workers indispensable to industrial development. But they depended chiefly upon Japan for getting their technicians and skilled workers. In 1940, the NICHIMAN association for Mining and Industrial technicians was established in Tokyo by reorganizing the NICHIMAN Training School for skilled workers founded in AKITA city before. The MANSHU Association for Mining and Industrial technicians entrusted the NICHIMAN Association for Mining and Industrial Technicians entirely with its recruitment for skilled workes in the main islands of Japan etc. In 1940 business year,they entrusted the UCHIHARA young People's Volunteer Corps training establishment for the Cultivation of Manchuria and Mongolia in IBARAKI Pref., provisionally with fundamental training for young people admitted to it in the main islands of Japan. In the following 1941, they set up the MANSHU Mining and Industrial Training Establishment for Young People which could accommodate up to three thousand and five hundred trainees with an area of thirty cho in KOIBUCHI village, adjoining land of UCHIHARA. The MANSHU Association for Mining and Industrial technicians consisted of five sections, that is, general affair, accounting, business, training, registration and of HOHTEN branch office. It ran a training school for skilled workers in ANTOH, HARUBIN and HOHTEN, respectively, and the training school for technicians attached to DAIREN technical school. It supervised training schools affiliated to more than fifty enterprises, too and did registeration service of technicians and skilled workers, as well. On the other hand, the NICHIMAN Association for Mining and Industrial Technicians managed a training school in AKITA City, NOHGATA City and SAKATA City, respectively and was entrusted with the training of engineers in RITSUMEIKAN NICHIMAN technical junior college.
