Research Abstract |
In 1988, the excavations at Huacaloma and Kuntur Wasi, Cajamarca, northern Peru. In 1989, the excavations at Huacaloma and Kolguitin in the Cajamarca basin, and Kuntur Wasi in the San Pablo province of Cajamarca. Ceremonial architectures of the Formative period were excavated together with pottery and other artifacts. Three tombs with bold ornaments such as crowns and pectorals of the so called Cupishique style were unearthed at Kuntur Wasi.
