| Research Abstract |
1 . Stomach cancer (1) Salted pork, dried salted small fishes and vinagered noodle showed strong mutasgenieity. (2) Improving dietary habit in a high risk area, China, is associated with improving stomach mucosa in the high risk area. (3)The correlaton between campylobacter infection stomach cancer is now under study. (4) Regressive changes of cappillary of blood vessel in chronic inflammation of submucosa were found. (5) Resected tissues of stomach could be cultured out of body the specimens are under study. (6) New monoclonal antibody GLO13 is useful for diagnosis in China. (7) Positive association of changes in frequency of Green-yellow vegetable and changes in serum carotene for one year was observed. (8) Four thousands inhabitants measured serum beta -carotene in Japan are following up. (9) About 100 cases with chronic gastritis are treated by traditional herbs medicine in China. (10)A new method of methylen blue could be clarified extent and degree of intestinalisation of gastric mucosa in Japan. Intake of fruits inhibited progression of gastric intestinalisation. Meat intake promoted proliferation of parietal cells of stomach.
2 . Lung Cancer (1) Age at onset of lung cancer was younger Shenyang than in Kyoto. Squamous cell carcinoma for the younger age groups less than 39 was frequently observed in Japan and small cell carcinoma was in China. Adeno-cystic carcinoma was frequently found in Chinese lung cancer. Mass screening using sputum and chest indirect radiography showed a relatively high prevalence of lung cancer in Fusin, China. DNA quantitative diagnosis on cytologin specinems is now under study. (2) Case-control study on lung cancer was carried out the data of 100 cases and 200 controls were now under study.
