Research Abstract |
PURPOSE OF THE PRESENT STUDY WAS TO UPDATE THE PREVIOUS REPORT (1987) ON SUPPLY BOTTLENECKS IN PRODUCTION OF MANUFACTURED EXPORTS IN CASE OF CHINA. WE FOUND THAT AMONG THE BOTTLENECKS MENTIONED IN THE PREVIOUS REPORT SHORTAGES IN ENEGY, TRANSPORATION AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE WERE BECOMING THE MOST PERIOUS ONE. WE CONCLUDE THAT BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE THAT WILL PROMOTE BOTH GROWTH AND EXPORTS IN CURCIAL IN OVERCOMING SUPPLY BOTTLENECKS.
