Research Abstract |
The aim of this project is to improve chemistry lab curriculum of specialized subject in teacher training course, which there are not enough time and hand to prepare each class in two more different chemistry subjects, and is to investigate effective curriculum by combination of two or three different lab classes, inorganic-, analytical- and physical-chemistry. It is important to search a most fitted teaching and testing material in order to make succeed the combination curriculum. From result of investigation and practice, we recommend two curricula by using of (1)Mohr's salt and (2)dichlorobisethylenediamminecobalt(III)chloride as the material. After preparation of material(1) or (2) by students, we have students perform various lab experiments in inorganic, analytical and physical chemistry as follows ; Material (1) Inorganic synthesis and Purification of recrystalization Volumetric analysis(Permaganometry, Chelatemetry) Gravimetric analysis(Weighing of sulphate, BaSO_4) Instrumental analysis(Colorimetry, Potentiometry) Material (2) Inorganic synthesis and Identification (Complexation, Cis-trans isomer,UV-Vis spectrum) Analytical Chemistry(Chelatemetric titration(Co), and Precipitating titration(Cl)) Physical chemistry(Analysis of aquation reaction by conecting personal computer and spectrophotometer)
