Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、膜電位駆動型分子モーターのための新しい1分子計測・操作技術を開発し、その作動原理の解明を目指してた。具体的には、F型ATP合成酵素を測定対象の中心とし、それら運動の基本的な性質と、素晴らしい異種エネルギー変換機構の解明を目指した。本研究により、i)F型ATP合成酵素の1分子解析のための要素技術群の開発(Lab Chip 2016)、ii) 膜電位の定量制御技術の開発に成功した。また、測定対象を拡張するため、P型ATPaseの一種であるH+/K+ ATPaseのための1分子計測技術の開発も行った(未発表)。
