Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は2光子同時検出技術およびSOI技術を用いて2光子同時計測コンプトンカメラおよび反跳電子追跡型コンプトンカメラの原理検証を行うことである。これらの原理実証のために2台のコンプトンカメラを同期動作させた系を構築し、コインシデンス判定を行うことで高感度化が可能であることを実証した。またGeant4によるシミュレーションでの検討および比較、2光子を用いた系の新たな画像再構成技術を確立した。2光子放出核種の同時計数はこれまでのコンプトンカメラ方式に比較して非常に高いSNを有しており、生体などの分布線源の可視化に優位である。これは2光子を同時に検出することで従来コンプトンコーンで描画していたものを、コンプトンコーン同士の重なりで描画できるためである。一方でコンプトン散乱により発生する反跳電子をトラッキング可能な検出素子をSOI技術を用いて開発した。コンプトン散乱により発生する反跳電子の方向を高精度に測定することでコンプトン運動学からコンプトンコーンの領域を制限することが可能となる。これまでSiなどの固体検出器で非同期に反跳電子飛跡パターンを読み出すことは困難であった。反跳電子飛跡追跡においては30umのピクセルサイズを有するSOI検出器をもちいることで次世代型コンプトンカメラの実証を行った。また反跳電子飛跡追跡のための深層学習をもちいた方向推定方法を確立し、画像再構成が可能であることを確認した。
