Outline of Annual Research Achievements

固体表面に複数の触媒機能を集積することで、それら機能の協奏効果を発現させ、効率よく有機反応を進行させることが可能となる。H28年度の研究は、主にPd錯体と有機分子をシリカ表面に固定した触媒が、両者の協奏効果によってアリル化反応に高活性を示すことを見出してきた。H29年度はこの研究を発展させ、触媒担体をメソポーラス構造とすることによる協奏効果の増幅を見出すとともに、表面シラノール基によるアリルアルコールの活性化を実現した。加えて、シリカ表面にグラフトしたRh錯体の近接位置にアミノ基を固定することで、オレフィンのヒドロシリル化反応における触媒性能が向上することを見出した。
シリカ表面へRh錯体を直接グラフトし、隣接位置にアミノ基を導入することで、末端オレフィンのヒドロシリル化反応に高活性を示す固定化触媒 (SiO2/Rh-NEt2) を合成可能であることを見出した。SiO2/Rh-NEt2を用いて0.48 μmolのRh存在下にて96 mmolの1-hexadeceneの反応を行ったところ、目的生成物が収率97%で得られ、このときの触媒回転数 (TON) は190万回に達した。この値は、これまでに報告されている固定化Rh触媒を用いる系と比較して、一桁以上高い値である。
メソポーラスシリカ細孔内へPd錯体とアミノ基を固定することで、両者が最適な配向で近接し、アリル化反応における協奏的触媒作用が向上することを見出した。特に、ビスフェノールAのアリル化反応では、エポキシ樹脂モノマーの前駆体が極めて高収率・高TONで得られることがわかった。
