Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題ではスルホン酸とアミンの間に働く非常に強い電荷補助型水素結合(静電相互作用)を用いて超分子複合体の形成を行い、続いてこの複合体を様々な形状をした分子骨格すなわち共有結合を用いてさらに連結させることで、高次ネットワークを形成し、複数のネットワークが相互貫入することで階層的に多孔質有機塩を構築する。
このような多孔質有機塩内に触媒反応場を創出するためには、まず大きく安定な空間が必要となる。そこでダイヤモンド構造を保ちながら多孔質構造を形成させるために、正四面体方向にスルホン酸が配置されたテトラスルホン酸を設計した。一方で我々は、ダイヤモンド型多孔質有機塩の空孔表面には嵩高いアミン(TPMA)のフェニル基が露出しており、このフェニル基に種々の置換基を導入することで空孔表面の化学修飾が可能であることを明らかにしてきた。そこで、多孔質構造内に触媒金属配位サイトを導入するために、TPMAのフェニル基をピリジル基に1つ置換したアミンを設計した。これら2つを1:4のモル比で混合し多孔質構造の構築を試みたところ、ダイヤモンド型ネットワーク構造を形成し、2つのネットワークが逆方向に2つ相互貫入した多孔質構造が構築された。この多孔性結晶を種々の触媒金属を溶解した溶媒に含浸させたところ、どの結晶も濃く着色した。結晶を切断した断面も色濃く着色しており、結晶内部まで触媒金属が導入されたことが解った。さらに触媒金属導入前の多孔性結晶のガス吸着測定を行ったところ、CO2が吸着されることが解った。その後、触媒金属を空孔内に担持させてもその吸着量は変わらず、気相中での触媒反応に適応可能なことが示唆された。
