Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1. ハミルトニアン動力学に従って時間発展する量子系に対し、そのハミルトニアンの一部が不定である場合の量子ゲートの実装について考察した。特に、量子制御分野で未解決となっていた、複数の量子ビットからなる多体量子系において、不定なパラメータを有するハミルトニアンに対してロバストな制御が原理的に可能となりうるかを理論的に明らかにした。量子ゲートのハミルトニアン動力学による実現可能性は、量子制御理論によって数学的に明らかにされているが、この理論では与えられたハミルトニアンが全て既知であることが仮定されている。本研究では2量子ビット以上の量子系に対しても任意の量子ゲートがロバストに実装できる系の存在を数学的に明らかにした。この研究では、本領域の領域会議において実験研究におけるロバスト制御の重要性を知ったことが、研究の推進力となった。
2. 断熱量子計算とGrover探索アルゴリズムのハイブリッド量子アルゴリズムにより、ユニタリ操作を変換する高階量子演算の代表例である「量子学習」「転置行列化」「複素共役化」「逆行列化」を実装する量子アルゴリズムがこれまでの研究によって提案されたが、本年度は、既存のアルゴリズムを再検討することで、Grover探索アルゴリズムの一般化である、振幅増幅アルゴリズムと目標とする高階量子演算の特殊性を活用し、ダイアモンドノルムによる誤差評価εに対する入力ユニタリ操作の利用回数をO(1/ε)に削減することに成功した。一方で、ユニタリ操作の次元dに対して使用する利用回数は既存のアルゴリズムと同じくdの2乗でスケールする。これは現時点で知られている高階量子演算実装法において最良のスケーリングである。その他、ハイブリッド量子系のネットワークで構成されるクラウド型量子計算におけるエンタングル資源の満たすべき条件や性質の導出に成功した。
