Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度では、銀河系ハロー星のコンタミネーションを統計的に考慮した動力学解析手法を球対称質量分布から非球対称質量分布に拡張したモデルの構築と、そのモデルを実際の観測データに適用し矮小銀河暗黒物質分布の制限、そして次世代分光装置であるすばるPFSを想定した暗黒物質分布の決定精度の評価を主に行ってきた。
軸対称質量分布モデルとハロー星コンタミネーションを考慮した動力学解析手法を構築する際、これまでの研究では暗黒物質分布の形が外側で半径に対してマイナス3乗で変化するように冪を固定した制限的な分布を仮定していた。そこで本研究では、暗黒物質分布の内側の冪、外側の冪、そして内側から外側の冪への遷移の滑らかさをパラメータとしたより自由度の高い暗黒物質分布モデルを採用した。これによってより詳細な暗黒物質分布の制限が可能になる。
この構築したモデルを分光観測のデータ数が豊富な明るい銀河系矮小銀河に適用して、暗黒物質分布の制限を行った。特にりゅう座矮小銀河とこぐま座矮小銀河の動力学解析と先行研究との比較を行い、どちらも先行研究の結果より暗黒物質が豊富である事がわかった。よって暗黒物質粒子の間接的検出実験に最も適した矮小銀河として、今後ガンマ線観測衛星での観測提案を行う予定である。また超低輝度矮小銀河も含めた他の矮小銀河について同様の解析を行い、矮小銀河暗黒物質分布への制限に対して包括的な動力学解析を行っていく。
次にすばるPFSを想定した暗黒物質分布の決定制度の評価を行うために、非球対称質量分布の模擬データを作成し、データ数によって暗黒物質分布の決定精度がどの程度改善されるかを調べた。PFSで想定されるデータ数2500個と現在のデータ数500個を比較すると決定精度が50パーセント以上向上することがわかった。よってPFSを用いた矮小銀河観測の重要性を示すことが出来た。
