Outline of Annual Research Achievements

大規模流体力学シミュレーションに基づくデータ同化を工学分野における主要目的である設計開発で利用できるようにするためには,流れ場の特徴を捉えた次元縮約モデルによる解析の高速化が必須である.本研究では次元縮約モデルの導出手法としてスパースモデリングに注目し,実用的な高レイノルズ数流れを対象とした高速なデータ駆動型シミュレーション手法の構築を目指している.

流体現象の次元縮約モデルとしては,非定常な流れ場から得られる空間基底を固有直交分解(POD)や動的モード分解(DMD)によって得て,基底の重ね合わせによって流れ場を表現する手法がよく知られているが,流体現象特有のエネルギースペクトルから,高レイノルズ数の流れを表現するには非常に多くの基底が必要となり,次元縮約モデルの有効性が薄れてしまう.また,次元縮約モデルによる予測という観点からは,予測される変数(例えば,POD係数)に周期性がある場合には再現された流れ場自体の精度も良好であるが,高レイノルズ数流れで現れる複雑なPOD係数変化の正確な予測は難しく,従って,流れ場の予測精度も悪い.この問題は考慮する基底の数をかなり増やしても解決できないため,基底に基づく次元縮約モデルの実用上な大きな課題と考えられる.

本年度は上記の問題を回避するために,流体計算領域を分割し,分割された領域内の流れの複雑さに応じて,次元縮約モデルを適用するか否かを判断するハイブリッド手法を検討した.比較的単純な流れ場において適用し,レイノルズ数の変化に応じてオリジナルモデルと次元縮約モデルを切り替えることが可能であることを確認した.
