Outline of Annual Research Achievements

生物運動のモデリングのための動的スパースモデリングの理論を検討し，スパースかつ連続な運動を生成する最適制御の定式化を考察した．その結果，CLOT (Combined L-One and Two) ノルムと呼ばれる評価関数が有効であることを発見し，スパースかつ連続な制御信号を得ることが可能となった．鳥類や二足歩行など，動物の運動はスパースではあるが，不連続では有りえないので，CLOTノルムの定式化は自然である．本結果は，University of Texas at Dallas および Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad との国際共同研究により国際会議IFAC World CongressやSICE Annual Conference 等に国際会議論文論文として発表した．現在，その成果を学術論文にまとめて，制御分野の国際トップジャーナルに投稿中である．

また医療データは時系列信号であり，その生成モデルとして動的システムを仮定すれば，信号推定問題は動的スパースモデリングの問題として定式化される．特に，データが離散値を取る場合について，その動的スパースモデリングにもとづく定式化を行い，IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control や IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing 等の国際トップジャーナルで発表した．
