Outline of Annual Research Achievements

東大総合文化研究科の堀田グループと共同で進めていた、反強磁性マグノンにおけるスピン運動量ロッキングの理論計算については、様々なパラメータ領域におけるスピン運動量ロッキング現象を理論的に整理してまとめたものをCommunications physics誌に投稿して出版した。反強磁性体Ba2MnGe2O7における反強磁性マグノン励起周波数付近のマイクロ波非相反伝搬に関しては、昨年度末に論文として投稿しており、査読審査を通じて理論考察などを発展させPhysical Review B誌に出版した。また、二次元反強磁性体CuB2O4における表面弾性波と反強磁性マグノンとの結合により、表面弾性波の伝搬強度が磁場で大きく変化する現象を見出した。この結果に磁気弾性結合により相互作用したマグノンと弾性波の理論計算を用いて解析を加えて論文として纏め、Physical Review B誌に出版した。さらには、反強磁性マグノンのスピン運動量ロッキング現象の実験的な観測への利用を目指して、論文(Nature Commun. 9, 738 (2018))に報告された、Co金属の周期的パターン蒸着によってマイクロ波による高波数マグノンの高強度励起が実現される結果の再現を試みた。第一ステップとしてイットリウム鉄ガーネット結晶上に、Co金属の周期的パターン蒸着を蒸着した結果、高波数状態と思われる新たなピーク形成が確認された。
