Outline of Annual Research Achievements

円偏光発光(CPL)は、励起分子の安定構造などの情報を含んでおり、励起状態を検討する上で重要な情報が含まれている。しかし、一般的に蛍光強度が弱いことが多いため、CPL強度も弱く観測が困難であることも多い。そこで、計算科学を用いてCPLスペクトルが観測できる分子の自動探索を試みた。これまで、ライブラリーから分子を自動生成するハイスループット材料自動探索スキームにより材料の自動探索を行ってきた。このアプローチは本研究対象にも展開可能であるが、準備するライブラリーに依存するため新規性が乏しい分子が生成される可能性がある。そこで、本研究では、データベースで報告されている分子を深層学習させたモデルを用いて分子の自動生成を行う。このアプローチではライブラリーを準備する必要が無く、新規性の高い分子が生成される。データベースから抽出する分子に対して依存性はあるが、基本的に自由度は高く所望の分子が探索・生成できる。
具体的には、分子の自動生成の深層学習モデルとして再帰型ニューラルネットワークを用い、モンテカルロ木探索(MCTS)をベースに分子探索を行う。分子自動探索プログラムは、ChemTSを用いた。これまでCPLスペクトルが観測されている典型的な有機分子と同じ骨格を持つもしくは分子類似性が高い数千分子を、PubChemデータベースから抽出し、深層学習に利用した。CPLスペクトルの計算には、時間依存密度汎関数理論を用いた。合成可能性の指標、リング罰則項も考慮しながら材料探索を行ったところ、ターゲット物性として選んだCPL強度および励起エネルギーの制約条件を満たす候補材料を得ることができた。実験研究者からも、妥当な材料とのコメントを頂いた。今後、更に多くのターゲット物性を満たす材料探索を行っていく予定である。
