Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、研究代表者が観察、解明した3D ナノ空間ケージ効果に基づくナノ粒子のトラップ法に光圧力学操作を融合する斬新な方法論で、ナノ粒子に対する研究代表者が開発したNano-in-Nano 流体力学操作の限界を超えさせ、その相乗効果の究明により、液相におけるナノ粒子の複合的な操作及び大規模な配列手法を確立することである。
平成30年度は、平成29年度に確立した光圧とナノ流体デバイスの融合による新しい光圧物質操作の実験手法を用いて、本研究の基礎となる液相におけるナノ粒子の1粒子精度・複合的な操作・配置手法の確立にさらに取り組んだ。また、最適化したNano-in-Nano流体力場において、レーザー操作による光誘起力とナノ粒子の性質との関係を実験により明らかにし、ナノ粒子の選択的操作・大規模配列手法の創出も図った。具体的には、基本実験手法を用いて試行錯誤実験を行い、それぞれの粒子に対する最適化のレーザー強度などを検討した。試行錯誤実験で得たレーザー光の最適化条件を指針として、最適化したNano-in-Nano流体力場下において、レーザー強度による光誘起力とナノ粒子の性質との関係を実験でさらに明らかにし、性質が異なるナノ粒子の選択的な操作及び配列化に取り組んだ。さらに、これまで得た知見に基づいて光圧操作による二粒子間の反応の実現にも挑戦した。
以上の成果は、光圧とナノ流体デバイスの初めての融合によるものであり、流体環境で単一ナノ物質を多様な形で精密に制御、操作する道が開けられたといえる。
