Outline of Annual Research Achievements

我々が開発したニューラルネットワークを用いた乱れのあるトポロジカル超伝導体を同定する手法は、解析計算により相の同定が可能である乱れのない極限における最低励起状態の波動関数を教師データとして学習器に学ばせる事で行う。乱れに関して統計平均を取り、有効的に並進対称性を回復させた波動関数を入力データとすることで、非摂動領域まで精度良く相判定を行うことが可能であるという特徴をもつ。その後の研究により、本手法が高次トポロジカル絶縁体やボゾン系トポロジカル相の判定にも使えることが判明し、bulk-edge対応がある系では対称性/次元に依らず汎用的に使える手法であることが実証された。一方、スパースモデリングによる画像復元技術を用いて、乱れを入れた際のエッジ状態におけるノイズを除去させた画像を学習器に判別させたところ、乱れが小さい領域では精度よく判別できたが、乱れが大きい領域では他の確立された手法による結果と一致せず、統計平均による並進対称性の回復が重要であることが明らかとなった。
本年度は更に、フェルミオン系におけるクラスAIIに対応する、擬時間反転対称性に保護された3次元Z2トポロジカルマグノン系の具体的模型とそれらを特徴付けるZ2トポロジカル不変量を提案した。ボゾン系には特有の数学的性質(非エルミート性)があるため、これらの不変量はフェルミオン系とは異なった表式のベリー接続/曲率を用いて表現されるという特徴がある。また、トポロジカル相は乱れに強いとされているが、系に乱れがあると波数が定義できないため、相を特徴付けるトポロジカル不変量を定めることは自明ではない。そこで、非可換幾何の手法を用いて、乱れのあるマグノン系トポロジカル相の不変量も定義した。ここでは、ボゾン系における“フェルミ”射影演算子を導入することで上記の手法を拡張した。
