Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最近の超新星爆発シミュレーションの発展により、ニュートリノ原子核反応は重力崩壊型超新星爆発過程において重要な役割をなすことが明らかになってきた。基本的なインプットであるニュートリノ原子核反応率の信頼のおける評価が望まれているが、反応率は非常に小さいため実験的評価は特定の原子核やエネルギーに限られてしまい、超新星爆発過程に寄与する全ての反応を評価するには理論計算に頼らざるを得ない。本研究計画は包括的ニュートリノ反応を効率よく記述する新たな定式を確立し、軽い原子核から重い原子核を含む広いエネルギー領域での反応率を評価するものである。陽子・中性子の自由度から出発した一貫した精密原子核理論により未知のニュートリノ原子核反応率を決定し、超新星爆発機構の解明を目指す。
本年度は原子核のレプトン崩壊過程に現れるクーロン波動関数の取り扱いを改善し、許容遷移、禁止遷移を含めたベータ崩壊率の再定式化を行った。より現実的な例も含め、広い質量・エネルギー領域で検証を行い、重い原子核においては従来の方法に比べ反応率が大きく修正されることを指摘した。利用者の便宜のため波動関数を生成するプログラムを公開し、現在学術論文として投稿中である(arXiv: 2103.16815)。同時に様々なプローブによる原子核散乱を記述する枠組みの開発及び応用、密度汎関数理論による現実的な弱相互作用過程の記述、ニュートリノ核子におけるパイ中間子生成過程等の成果が発表された。
