Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、将来の重力波観測がヒッグスセクターの構造とその背後の物理を解明する為の手段となる全く新しい可能性を追究する。宇宙バリオン数生成問題を説明する有力シナリオである電弱バリオン数生成は、強い一次的電弱相転移を伴う標準理論から拡張されたヒッグスモデルを必要とする。初期宇宙に生じた強い一次的電弱相転移の「こだま」としての重力波を検出することで、電弱バリオン数生成を立証できるだけでなく、重力波スペクトルの詳細からヒッグスポテンシャルの構造を決定できる可能性がある。
2019年度は、2018年度に引き続いてヒッグスセクターが拡張された新物理モデルの電弱相転移の際に発生する重力波スペクトルを、将来の重力波観測を用いてモデル間の差異を検出することにより、ヒッグスセクターの構造解明に向けた理論研究を行った。標準理論を拡張した新しいニュートリノ質量生成モデルを考え、重力波を含む将来実験で総合的に検証する方法を研究した。また重力波実験と加速器実験のシナジーの研究の一環として、ヒッグス自己結合に対する新粒子の効果を初めて2ループレベルで計算した。ついで、1次的相転移由来の重力波スペクトルに対する2ループ補正の効果を研究した。さらに、強い電弱一次的相転移を引き起こす新物理モデルにおける電弱理論の非摂動解スファレロンの研究を行い、ヒッグス3点結合とスファレロンエネルギーの関係を明らかにすることによって、将来実験でヒッグス3点結合を測定することにより、スファレロンエネルギーを決定する可能性を初めて明らかにした。それらの新物理模型に基づいてスファレロンエネルギーと相転移の際に発生する重力波の相関関係を調べ、将来重力波観測によりスファレロンエネルギーを決定する可能性を調べた。将来の重力波観測と加速器実験でヒッグスセクターを立体的に検証する方法を研究した。
