Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、核物質状態方程式を特徴付ける飽和密度経験値の不定性が、中性子星や重力崩壊型超新星爆発などの高密度天体現象に与える影響を系統的に調べることで、高密度天体現象の観測から飽和密度経験値の不定性を絞り込む可能性について定量的に評価することである。この目的達成のため、本研究では、飽和密度経験値で陽に表される現象論的な一様核物質のエネルギー表式に基づいて、天体シミュレーションに適用可能な広範囲の密度・温度・陽子混在度における核物質の熱力学量を完備した状態方程式テーブルを様々な飽和密度経験値のパラメターセットに対して作成し、実際のシミュレーションへと適用することを目指す。この際、飽和密度経験値のパラメターセットは、原子核の実験値を大局的に再現するように決定された先行研究の値を採用し、それぞれのパラメターセットに基づいて非一様核物質に対するThomas-Fermi計算を行うことで、超新星爆発計算用状態方程式テーブルを作成する。
前年度の研究では、9通りの飽和密度経験値のパラメターセットに対して状態方程式テーブルを作成し、典型的な温度や陽子混在度における熱力学量の振る舞いを解析した。2019年度の研究では、さらに系統的な解析を行うため、先行研究で提案された304通りの飽和密度経験値について状態方程式テーブルを作成し、有限温度非一様相に現れる原子核の質量数や組成について解析を行った。
さらに2019年度は、上述の非一様核物質に対するThomas-Fermi計算によって得られた代表的な2種類の状態方程式テーブルを用いて、太陽質量の15倍の質量を持つ親星の球対称重力崩壊シミュレーションにも取り組んだ。その結果、星の中心部における密度分布や粒子組成には多少の違いが見られたが、放出されるニュートリノの平均エネルギーや光度については、状態方程式の影響はあまり大きくないことがわかった。
