Outline of Annual Research Achievements

修飾Cp配位子を持つ二金属ハイブリッド触媒の開発と,それを用いたC-H結合の変換反応について検討を行った。
その結果,(2-pyridyl)tetramethylcyclopentadieneを鋳型配位子として持つRh(I)錯体に対して,2倍モル量のInCl3を作用させることで,カチオン性In-Rh錯体の合成に成功した。これは,「メタロリガンドを持つシクロペンタジエニル金属錯体」というこれまでにほとんど例の無い金属錯体触媒群の効率的創出を可能にする新しい二核錯体合成法として意義深い。さらに本錯体の構造解析と理論計算,ならびに電気化学測定から,インジウムがσ-受容性メタロリガンドとして働くことで,ロジウム金属の酸化数が+1から+3様へと変化していることを明らかとした。またそれに伴い,本In-Rh二核錯体を触媒として用いることで,ピリジンやピリミジンを配向性官能基とするオルト位sp2炭素-水素結合のアミノ化反応が円滑に進行することを見出した。本反応は,Inメタロリガンドを持たない通常のCp*Rh(I)錯体では全く進行しない。これらの結果は,σ受容性メタロリガンドを利用した二核錯体化を通して,炭素-水素結合活性化能のON/OFF制御に成功した初めての例であり,C-H結合活性化反応における二金属ハイブリッド触媒の有用性を実証した結果として意義深い。
また前年度までに見出したルテニウム触媒を用いる3級ホスフィンのオルト位C-H結合ホウ素化反応についても検討を行い,基質としてアリールホスフィナイトやホスファイトを用いることで,o-ボリルフェノール誘導体の効率的合成反応の開発へと展開することにも成功した。
