Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究ではデフォルトモードネットワーク(DMN)がどのいった行動や脳機能を担うのか、DMNが他の神経機構とどのように関連しているか、の二つのアプローチで調べることでDMNの成因や機構を明らかにすることを目的とする。基盤技術としての安静時脳活動・DMNの測定・解析技術の開発を鋭意すすめ、特にマカクサル脳において安静時脳活動機能的MRIを収集する技術(RF受信コイルの条件設定、撮像シーケンス)ならびにネットワーク解析の技術の最適化と開発をすすめ確立し論文化した。撮像シーケンスにはマルチバンドEPIシーケンスを用いて時間解像度0.75秒、空間解像度1.25mmの高い分解能のデータを取得した。空間解像度の決定には、マカクサル脳の皮質厚を計測し半球内の皮質厚分布を基に算出した。また麻酔状態や覚醒状態における脳安静状態のデータ取得・解析を行うための技術も構築した。安静時脳活動MRIデータにおいて問題となるノイズを除去する技術を開発し、機械学習の技術を用いて精度高いノイズ除去技術を構築できた。これにより19個の神経ネットワークを抽出した。またドパミン機能やセロトニン機能を修飾した際の安静時脳活動ネットワークの調査し、皮質・皮質下の機能ネットワークの変動を認めた。
