Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、環状ポリエーテルが共同的に作り出す柔らかな非対称性の配位空間を多孔質構造体の内部に創出し、周囲の空間とポリエーテルの特異な配列を利用して金属イオンやキラル分子を可逆的に挿入・脱離させ、動的な機能発現を実現することを目的とする。古典的な高機能分子であるクラウンエーテルは、カチオン種に対する選択的・高親和性のため、相間輸送剤、センサー、キラルアミンの認識・分割剤など数々の用途に使われているが、高結晶性の多孔質構造体に組み入れた例は極めてまれであり、新しい科学領域へと発展できる可能性がある。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、カルボキシ基で修飾した有機機能分子を、水素結合を介して自己集合させ、内部にアシンメトリック配位圏をもつ水素結合性多孔質構造体を構築するとともに、外部刺激に対して異方的に応答できる機能材料へと展開することである。具体的には、環状ポリエーテルが共同的に作り出す柔らかなアシンメトリック配位圏を多孔質フレームワークの内部に創出し、周囲の空間を利用して金属イオンやキラル分子を可逆的に挿入・脱離させ、動的な機能発現を実現することを目指した。古典的な高機能分子であるクラウンエーテルは、カチオン種に対する選択的・高親和性のため、相間輸送剤、センサー、キラルアミンの認識・分割剤など数々の用途に使われているが、高結晶性の多孔質構造体に組み入れた例は極めてまれであり、新しい科学領域へと発展できる可能性がある。当該年度も、多孔質ネットワーク構造を形成するための鍵構造であるカルボキシフェニル基を、ジベンゾ18クラウン-6-エーテルおよびトリベンゾ18クラウン-6-エーテルに導入した2種類の分子を合成し、それらを用いて内部空間を有する結晶性分子集合構造の構築を行った。その結果、トリベンゾ18クラウン-6-エーテル誘導体が、計画どおりにカルボキシ基の相補的な水素結合によって2次元ヘキサゴナルネットワークを構築し、クラウンエーテルで囲まれた3回対称性の内部空間を有する構造体を得ることができた。また、ジベンゾ18クラウン-6-エーテル誘導体からなる構造体は、小さいながらもプロトン伝導性をしエスことが分かった。以上の結果は、イオノファーを構成要素に用いた新たな多孔質構造体の構築指針を示すのもである。
