Outline of Research at the Start

物理学の様々な階層で閾値近傍にクラスター的な状態が現れることが指摘されている。ハドロン物理学では、K中間子と核子の閾値近傍に現れるΛ(1405)共鳴がハドロン分子構造の代表的な例として挙げられる。本研究では、閾値近傍に現れる状態の構造を記述する一般的な枠組みを構築し、ハドロン物理で得られた知見を起点として階層性を横断する物理を展開する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

ハドロンが多重発生する高エネルギー陽子陽子衝突および陽子原子核衝突実験で,終状態のハドロン対生成量の運動量依存性を調べることで,2粒子運動量相関関数を測定することができる.ハドロン間の終状態相互作用の情報が反映される2粒子相関関数は,ハドロン間相互作用を決定する新たな手法として注目を集めている.特に,直接の散乱実験が難しいストレンジネスS=-2のバリオン対に対して,最近LHCのALICE実験が2粒子相関関数を測定し,バリオン間相互作用の新たな情報が得られると期待されている.しかしLambda Lambdaとp Xi-は強い相互作用で互いに遷移できるため,それぞれのチャンネルの独立な解析からは,相互作用の情報を正しく引き出すことができない.本研究ではN Xi-Lambda Lambdaのチャンネル結合を陽に取り扱い,運動量相関関数の計算を行う.バリオン間の強い相互作用は,物理点近傍での格子QCD計算で求められたHAL QCDポテンシャルを用い,ガウス関数型のソース関数を利用する.チャンネル結合効果に加えて,アイソスピン多重項間の閾値のエネルギー差,荷電粒子間のクーロン相互作用などを完全な形で取り込んだバリオン間相関関数を計算する.結果として,pXi-およびLambda Lambda相関関数の実験データの特徴的な振る舞いが定量的に再現されることを示した.理論の予言が実験と一致したことにより,NXi相互作用とLambda Lambda相互作用は共に引力的であるが,束縛状態や準束縛状態を作るほど相互作用は強くはないことが明らかになった.N Xi-Lambda Lambda系にはHダイバリオンと呼ばれる束縛状態があらわれる可能性が議論されていたが,本研究の結果は少なくともN Xi-Lambda Lambdaの閾値近傍には物理的な(準)束縛状態はあらわれないことを示唆している.
