Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、顕著な性的二型形質であるカブトムシの角が、性決定遺伝子のRNAiにより性スペクトラムを示すことに着目する。カブトムシにおいて研究代表者らが既に確立した遺伝子機能解析法（larval RNAi法など）及び次世代シーケンサーを用いた網羅的な解析法などの最新技術を駆使することにより、角の性的二型形成の分子機構を解明することを目指す。
