Research Abstract

ガンマ線バースト・極超新星の発生メカニズムは未解明なことが多く、コラプサーモデルという有力説はあるものの、極超新星の明るさを決定している56Niがいつ、どこで生成されているのか解明出来ていません。その原因は、コラプサーのダイナミクスをシミュレートするグループと、元素合成のシミュレーションを行っているグループがそれぞれ別個の計算をしており、ガンマ線バースト・極超新星の統一的な描像が描けていない点にあります。従って、この状況を打開するためには、コラプサーのダイナミクスをシミュレートするコードに充分な核反応計算を組み込み、長時間数値シミュレーションによって56Niがいつ、どこで、どれだけ生成されるのかを明らかにする方向性を探っていくことが必要不可欠です。このアプローチにより、極超新星に於ける56Ni生成問題について新しい知見を生み出すことが、本研究の大きな目的です。この目的達成のためにH22年度に於きましては特殊相対論的流体コード、及び一般相対論的磁気流体コードを開発してきました。幸いなことに双方ともにほぼ完成させることが出来ました。具体的には特殊相対論的流体コードは2次元軸対称コードで、ベクトル化、及び並列化を取り入れたコードとなっています。ベクトル化率はおよそ99%、並列化率はほぼ100%の数字を出すに至っており、満足のいく数字を達成しました。一般相対論的磁気流体コードは2次元軸対称コードと3次元コードを完成させました。こちらも共にベクトル化、及び並列化を取り入れたコードとなっており、ベクトル化率はおよそ99%、並列化率はほぼ100%の数字を達成しました。
