Research Abstract

本研究は大環状π共役系配位子錯体を構成成分とするπ-d系の開発を目的とする。22年度は、Coを中心金属とする軸配位型の新規一次元導電体であるエタノールが配位したアルカリ金属をカチオン成分とする部分酸化塩について、類縁体の作製を行った。K塩、Na塩は明確な金属的挙動を示し、同形であるTPP塩で見られた電荷不均化による熱活性的な挙動が押さえられていることから、電子相関効果が弱まっていることが示唆される。この原因として(i)成分間の水素結合の存在、(ii)格子の縮小効果が考えられる。そこで、(ii)の可能性を検討するためにサイズの大きなRb,Csの塩の作製を試みたが、同形の結晶は得られなかったため、同形の格子を維持するためにはサイズに制限があることが明らかになった。また、π-d系への拡張として、Fe錯体についてNa塩の作製に成功し、Co系と同様に金属的挙動が現れることが見出された。
上記研究と平行して、中心金属のdエネルギー準位を変化させた系として、Ruを中心金属とする一次元導電体の物性測定を進めた。不対電子を収容したd軌道のエネルギーが上昇し、Pc環のπ電子系HOMOとのエネルギー差が小さくなることでπ-d相互作用が大きくなることが期待されるが、実際比抵抗はFe系よりも大きくなり、π-d相互作用に起因する電子相関効果の発達がより顕著となっていることが予想される。しかし、磁化率を測定した結果、磁気異方性がほとんど無く、また、Fe系で特徴的だった反強磁性的なd-d相互作用がほとんど見られなかった。
他の大環状π共役系配位子として、ポルフィリン系の合成も進め、H_2(tmp)を電子供与体成分とする電荷移動錯体の作製に初めて成功した。今後は配位子のπ電子系の特徴を明らかにするとともに、金属錯体を用いた導電物質の開発に取り組む。
