Outline of Research at the Start

本研究計画は、ダークマターの素粒子的性質に多角的な天文観測データ・手法を用いて制限を与えることを目的としている。2 年間の研究期間で、主に天文データ解析と数値シミュレーションによる研究手法の開発を同時並行で行う。
我々はガンマ線観測と低表面輝度銀河の相互相関による新しい統計解析により、従来の矮小銀河解析とは独立な制限を与える手法を開発している。本手法を実データに応用することで、1TeV 付近の対消滅散乱断面積に制限を与える。
また、質量が 1MeV以下になってくると、宇宙大規模構造の形成過程に影響が生じる。その影響を深層学習による画像解析を応用し、従来よりも精緻なダークマター質量推定を目指す。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、keVスケールのダークマターに対して、宇宙大規模構造の揺らぎのパターンからその質量やダークマターモデルに制限を与える研究に従事した。1報目の論文では、宇宙論的流体シミュレーションを用いて擬似的な21cm線マップを構築し、その揺らぎのパターンから機械学習的な方法論を用いてダークマター質量に制限を与える研究を行なった。また、特に天体物理学的なモデルの不定性がどの程度制限に影響を与えるかを定量的に議論を行なった。
2報目の論文では、素粒子実験等でダークマターの質量が決まった場合に、どのような物理プロセスでダークマター粒子が生成されたかを決めるダークマター位相空間分布への制限を考慮した。1報目と同様21cm線マップによる制限を考慮しているが、CDMモデルからの分離ではなく、異なるダークマターモデル間同士の見分けが可能かどうかを論じた。
本年度は、その他関連する論文を合計11報、研究発表を5件行った(うち3件招待講演) 。
