Research Abstract

ヘビークォークを含むハドロンの相互作用を、有効相互作用として構築し、これをもとにダイバリオンを中心とするハドロン分子束縛構造の解明を行った。強い相互作用の基礎理論である量子色力学(QCD)におけるヘビークォークのダイナミクスは、いくつかの軽いクォーク系には見られない顕著な特長を表す。特に、ヘビークォークスピン対称性によって生じる縮退の結果、ハドロン間力におけるチャネル結合が強く働く構造に着目した。具体的にチャームバリオンΛcと核子Nの束縛状態やΛcΛcの束縛状態は、励起状態であるΣcおよびΣ*cとのテンソル結合により、引力が強く働いてできることが明らかになった。さらに短距離力の影響をクォーク模型に基づいて検討し、短距離での斥力が核子間の斥力に比べて弱いことを示した。また、チャーモニウムと原子核の相互作用を格子QCDのデータに基づいて解析し、核子数が4以上の原子核で、チャーモニウムが束縛する可能性が高いことを示した。これらの状態は、J-PARC等のハドロン生成加速器において、実験的に探索が行われることが想定される。
ヘビークォークの物理を中心とするワークショップを開催するなどして、加速器でチャームバリオンを生成し、そのスペクトルを観測するための理論的なサポートを行った。
これらのハドロン相互作用の微視的、定量的な研究として、格子QCDにおける3点関数計算を用いて、ヘビーバリオンとメソンの結合定数を評価する研究を進めた。手始めにDおよびD*メソンの結合定数を求め、ヘビークォーク対称性やベクトルカレント保存との整合性をチェックした。
チャームクォークを2個含むエキゾティックハドロンを電子陽電子衝突型実験において生成する断面積の計算を行った。ここではNRQCDの定式化に基づく因子化を用いた摂動論的な計算を行い、生成されたメソンのカラー構造から来る断面積の変化に注目した。
