Research Abstract

本課題では、新規なアリール置換芳香族およびヘテロ芳香族誘導体の創成にむけて、我々がこれまで手がけてきた配位性官能基をもつ芳香族基質の炭素-水素結合切断を含む触媒的連続置換反応を基軸に、パイ共役が拡張した多環化合物を一度の処理で一挙に構築する同一時空間集積合成法の開発を行うことを目的としている。昨年度の成果を踏まえ、引き続きロジウム触媒を用いたアセチレン化合物による芳香族基質の環拡張反応を中心に検討した。
まず、フェニルボロン酸およびそのパラ位置換体とジアリールアセチレンを基質に用い、クロロロジウムペンタメチルシクロペンタジエン錯体を触媒とし、酢酸銅存在下、空気雰囲気で反応条件の検討を行った。その結果、DMFのような極性溶媒中で反応を行うと、目的とする1:2カップリング生成物である1,2,3,4-テトラアリールナフタレン誘導体が良好な収率で生成した。ボロン酸およびアセチレンのベンゼン環に電子吸引基および電子供与基が置換しても反応は円滑に進行した。また、生成物のさらなる誘導体化に有用なハロゲン置換基も共存可能であった。この反応では、触媒サイクルごとに生成する1価ロジウムが銅塩と空気の存在下で再酸化されることにより、反応は触媒的に進行するものと推定される。この反応の更なる展開として、ナフタレンボロン酸、ベンゼンジボロン酸を用いたアントラセン合成を行った。さらにアントラセンのイリジウム触媒直接ボリル化によって得られる、アントラセンボロン酸ピナコールエステルを用いてテトラセンの構築を検討した。いずれの場合も、再酸化に用いる酸化系を工夫することによって高度縮環芳香族化合物を得ることができた。
一方、上記と類似の触媒系を用いてベンジルアルコールやベンジルアミン誘導体と内部アルキンとの反応を行うことにより、イソクロメンおよびイソキノリン類を簡便に合成することに成功した。
