Outline of Annual Research Achievements

１．カメルーンに居住する狩猟採集民Bakaの居住パターン、出生力
ピグミー系狩猟採集民Bakaが居住するカメルーン共和国東部州L市近郊の４集落を対象地域として人口学的調査を行った。アシスタントとともにそれぞれの集落を訪れ、対象者に口頭で研究内容を説明し、同意を得たのちに現地の言語を使用して調査者が直接聞き取りを行った。
1）現在人口：午前6時時点における在宅者および前日夜の滞在者（訪問者）2）居住形態:土壁の家vs.モングル 3）出生力：再生産が終了したと考えられる成人女性14名を対象に、配偶者とともに出産歴と子どもの名前、性別、出生地を聞き取った。4) 既存資料とのマッチングによって、1970年代から現代までの対象地域における集落移動変遷の歴史を推測した。
２．狩猟採集民Bakaの子どもの行動パターン：定住集落vs.森の狩猟キャンプ
2012年度は、定住集落において対象者数を増やす（子どものみならず大人も含めた）とともに、森の狩猟キャンプにおける行動パターン調査（子どものみ）を実施した。
1）定住的集落における子どもと大人の身体活動量と行動パターン：子どもおよび成人について、連続3日間にわたり、小型軽量のGPSと加速度計を装着してもらった。GPSによる位置情報データは72人（216人日）、加速度計による身体活動データは46人（138人日）得られた。2） 森の狩猟キャンプにおける子どもの行動パターン：子ども６名（男女各3名）について、1日1人、午前6時から午後6時まで12時間追跡を行い、森の狩猟キャンプにおける子どもの活動を1分単位で記録した。対象者の年齢は9～15歳で全員が思春期スパート発来済み（思春期）であった。
