Outline of Annual Research Achievements

神経細胞への興奮・抑制入力を推定するための状態空間解析法を確立する目的の研究を推し進めてきた.まず単一ニューロンの膜電位の計測データから時間変動する興奮性入力と抑制性入力を推定する手法を確立した(Kobayashi, Shinomoto, and Lansky, 2011) が,この方法をさらに神経内部イオンチャンネルのパラメータの変動をとらえる方法へと改良した(Kobayashi, Tsubo, Lansky, and Shinomoto 2012).さらに,細胞外電極から得ることの出来るスパイク時系列のみの情報から時間変動する興奮・抑制入力を推定する状態空間法を確立した.この推定法は大規模な計算を必要とし,大量のデータを処理するのに適していないので,より小さい計算量で推定できるスパイク発火パターンの性質から入力を推定する方法も同時に提案した(Kim and Shinomoto, 2012).隠れマルコフモデルを用いて内部状態の推定を行う研究もおこなった(Shintani and Shinomoto 2012).
