東アジアから輸送される全硝酸の挙動と広域分布

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

平成 24 年度では先行研究で確立した五島列島福江島、能登半島珠洲での NOy, 全硝酸 (TN) の自動連続観測の継続およびデータ解析を行なった。また、これまでに行われた 3 回の航空機観測で得られたデータの解析を行った。本概要では主に航空機観測の結果について述べる。
まず、2012年3月の観測結果について述べる。春の観測飛行全体を通したNOy, TN濃度はこれまでの3回の観測の中で最も高かった。3月13日は高度2000 mに、3月14日は1000 mに高濃度の汚染が見られ、NOyおよびTN濃度も高くなった。
次に、粒子への硝酸ガスの取り込みについて調べるために硝酸エアロゾル/TNと粒子中の主なイオン、金属成分の間の相関について調べた。多くの測定期間においてNa+濃度との間にはよい相関が見られ、硝酸エアロゾルの生成に硝酸ガスの海塩粒子への取り込みの寄与が大きいことが示唆された。また、秋と冬の観測においては、高濃度の黄砂飛来時を除き、海塩粒子からのCl-消失量 (Cl-loss) と硝酸エアロゾルの間にほぼ 1:1 の相関が見られ、観測期間中の硝酸エアロゾルはほとんどが硝酸ガスの海塩粒子との反応により生成するNaNO3であると考えられた。しかしながら、春の観測ではCl-lossに対して、硝酸エアロゾルが大過剰であり、多くがNaNO3以外の硝酸エアロゾルであると考えられた。
春の観測においては、3/11と3/13 の低高度において、硫酸イオンで中和されていないアンモニウムイオン(ex-NH4+)の存在が確認された。次に、3/11 と3/13 の低高度においてex-NH4+ と海塩粒子由来以外の硝酸エアロゾル間に良い相関関係が得られ、NH4NO3 の存在が示唆された。しかしながら、同時にNH4NO3 だけでは硝酸エアロゾルのすべてを説明できないことも明らかとなった。
