本研究では、今までのSF作品の調査を通じ、人々の対人関係や死生観がSFにおいてどう扱われてきたかを分析し、合わせて、SFを用いて専門家や作家が議論し、現状の技術革新および生涯学の知見を反映した未来の人々の生涯のビジョンを描くことで、文学的な想像力を生涯学に接続し、超高齢社会における発達・加齢観の刷新を目指す。
