Research Abstract

本研究計画では,高CO2条件下におけるC/N応答制御の分子ネットワーク全容解明を目指している。今年度は,計画1),2)のタンパク質相互作用に着目したC/Nシグナル伝達の分子基盤解析に加えて,3)CO2/Nによる植物の成長制御に関しても「花成」および「老化」に着目した生理学的解析を進めた。
1)詳細な生化学的解析と形質転換植物の解析を実施し,ATL31と14-3-3との相互作用と機能にリン酸化が必須であることを証明し,また,そのキナーゼの同定を進めた[J. Bio. Chem. 2014]。
2)ATL31がSNAREタンパク質SYP121との相互作用によりパピラ形成を制御し,うどん粉病耐性に関与することを証明した[Plant Physiol. 2014]。
3) ATL31と14-3-3等関連遺伝子導入植物を用いて,高CO2条件下で応答実験を実施した。高CO2(700 ppm)条件下では,野生型において老化の促進が観察されるが,ATL31過剰発現体ではその抑制が,またATL31KO変異体ではその亢進が観察できた。これにより,ATL31がC/N応答だけでなく,CO2/N応答にも関与することを証明した。また,その老化に関与する転写因子の同定に成功した[Plant Cell Physiol. 2014; Plant Signal. Behav. 2014]。
