Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、マングローブ樹木における潮汐・昼夜の連続的な変動がどのようにCO2およびCH4放出量に、生理学的にまた物理的に影響を与えるのかを明らかにするために、幹からのCO2およびCH4放出量の２４時間測定を干潮―満潮のサイクルを考慮に入れて行う。汽水域のブルーカーボンとして重要な生態系であるマングローブ林のガス交換過程をより正確に理解することを目指す。
